Does artificial lawn get hot?
Artificial lawns can get very hot. While most of the lawns using imported yarns get blistering hot, our lawns utilising the TAPEX yarns stay much cooler.
How is artificial lawn installed?
When we install a new lawn, we go above and beyond most other companies.
First the area will be dug out to a depth of 70–100mm. Then the area is filled with Dolomite, which is then compacted twice to ensure a firm base.
When the lawn is laid, we glue all the joins (not self adhesive tapes) and ‘tuck and pin’ the edges.
Finally we spread a fine silica sand over the lawn and brush it in.

Should I buy Australian Made?
Yes, but be careful! Many lawns are now produced in Australia, however, some are produced using inferior imported yarns (the green bits). We recommend lawns which use Australian Made TAPEX yarns. The have a higher level of UV Stabilisation, will last longer and stay cooler.
Is there a Warranty?
Yes, all our lawns come with a 10-year guarantee from our Australian manufacturer. This warranty even includes the colour!
Will you need to use a Bobcat?
In most cases, we choose to dig the area out by hand. This means there is less likelihood of damaging your existing surfaces such as driveways, paths etc.
